Aquaculture
Univice AWI has extensive experience in production and services in the Faroe Islands, and in recent years also in countries such as Scotland, Norway, and Iceland.
At the Univice technical workshop, customized solutions for aquaculture are manufactured from stainless steel and other materials, supported by solid consultancy and design work from the company’s own engineering department.
The AWI workshop manufactures fish farming tanks made from glass fiber (GRP) and plastic (PP/PE), as well as additional equipment for the tanks.
Maritime
From the very beginning, we have worked purposefully to provide vessels at port in the Faroe Islands with a high-quality and reliable service. We have upgraded processing factories on board ships, as well as carried out both major and minor repairs at fish processing plants.
Onshore operations
Our production serves construction companies, contractors, municipalities, and many other businesses.
We offer plastic tanks and containers, as well as fiberglass production manufactured in the Faroe Islands. In addition, we design, manufacture, and install solutions for both commercial buildings and private homes, including platforms, conveyor belts, and much more..

We can design and engineer solutions for a variety of purposes. This may include developing new equipment from the ground up, repairing and upgrading existing systems, improving workflows and production equipment, or expanding current solutions so they better match the customer’s needs and development. Our goal is always to find practical and efficient solutions that make work easier and improve production.
Production Equipment in Stainless Steel for Vessels and Factories
Univice was founded in 2010. During its early years, the company operated from rented facilities, where the core of the business was providing customers with reliable and high-quality solutions in stainless steel for ships and other industrial applications.
Today, approximately 40 skilled employees work at Univice. The company’s core activity remains the production of stainless steel equipment for the maritime and industrial sectors. In addition, Univice offers comprehensive solutions including consulting, design, and project engineering. In close collaboration with clients, tailored solutions are developed to ensure efficient production lines and optimized workflows—both on ship decks, in processing plants, and within the aquaculture industry.
