Solutions for the aquaculture industry

Univice AWI has extensive experience in production and services in the Faroe Islands, and in recent years also in countries such as Scotland, Norway, and Iceland.

At the Univice technical workshop, customized solutions for aquaculture are manufactured from stainless steel and other materials, supported by solid consultancy and design work from the company’s own engineering department.

The AWI workshop manufactures fish farming tanks made from glass fiber (GRP) and plastic (PP/PE), as well as additional equipment for the tanks.

Fish Pumps

Pescamotion are the highly popular fish pumps from Faivre. They feature a specially designed impeller that does not damage the fish.

The pumps are available in sizes 2.5″, 6″, 8″, and 10″.

Drum Filters

The drum filters are of very high quality and are available in most sizes.

Fish Counters

Fish counters from Faivre are available with both infrared counting and camera-based counting. They can count up to 650,000 fish per hour.

Fish Graders

The popular fish graders are available in various sizes to accommodate different fish sizes.

Air Traps

The air trap is installed in a fish transfer pipeline on the suction side of a centrifugal live fish pump. It is used to capture as many air bubbles as possible before they enter the pump. This ensures a more stable and consistent fish transfer process.
